Born 1942 West London. Convent reared. Family oriented. Kind but short tempered. Optimistic. Interested in arts, especially visual. Draws, paints, writes. Musical taste eclectic, leaning to classical; dreadful singing voice. Butterfly brained, big reader, loves poetry.
Recently retired from information work. Worked in France, USA and various UK libraries. A few articles and cartoons published. Web addict; last job included Internet searching tutorials and website content editing.
Divorced, lives with partner in Breckland area of Norfolk. No children. Cared for several elderly relatives since 1990. Recovering from losing them.
Love/hate relationship with 3 acre garden. 5 bantams, tame deer, fantastic birdlife. Reluctantly catless because of latter. Adores East Anglia, wildlife, countryside. Working on new lifestyle to include travel, bit of voluntary work and lots of constructive idleness.
